Day 4 & 5: Stormy Seas and Ensenada

Our 4th day at sea was really rough! It was extremely windy and chilly almost all day and it was a day at sea on our way back to Ensenada. Since we couldn't lay out or swim or play on deck it felt REALLY crowded. I have a weird issue with knowing that there are so many people crammed on a floating vessel in the middle of the ocean with nowhere to run.... so we spent the day eating, walking around, eating more, watching movies, eating, played roulette for about 30 sec, did karaoke, etc. We had a lot of fun and the day passed surprisingly fast.
Merlyn is seriously a towel animal making wizard! I think the crab is probably one of my Favs! Tan and I went on stage and played the Matching game in front of everyone with 2 other couples. We totally kicked their trash!! It was embarrassing/fun.....the host would call out a saying but would leave part of it blank for us to fill in.... if we wrote down the same "blank" as our partner it was a match. We matched all but 3....... one of them was ' Big ______' the first thing I thought of was daddy and Tanner said Bob..... Big Bob????? What? Anyway, it was fun and we won!! No cash. Just 24-karat-gold-plastic-ships-on-a-stick. Two of them.

Yep that is them in all their glory..... I am pretty sure we left them for Merlyn.
We met this really cute couple from Texas. They first night on the boat the girl and I both turned at the same time to tell each other how much we liked each other's hair. It was friendship from then on out ;) They have a son just a bit older than Maci so they could commiserate the baby-sickness we felt. They were a lot of fun to hang out and chat with!

This is Stuart "Stu" Dunn. The cruise directer. He was from Australia and was really funny. Well, I stalked him down at one of the Bars and asked him to take a picture with Tanner and I because he looks almost EXACTLY like a good friend of ours, Kyle Turner. Anyone agree? I think he was a little freaked out. Watcha gonna do Stu?
My Baby Love is sooooo freakin cute! He sang "Patience" by Guns n' Roses at Karaoke as a tribute to his 9th grade band ' Shatter Proof'....it was a total hit, funny huh! I think it was the first I've heard him really sing since our wedding dinner. I loved it.
Sorry the monkey is sideways but you get the idea...... this one freaked me out a little cause it looks like someone at the gallows awaiting the crate to be kicked out from under them. Thanks Merlyn for the sweet dreams.
Day 5 we arrived in Ensenada for the Day. We actually have been there several times because it is so close to Uncle Murry's Beach house in Rosarito. Nonetheless, we ventured out in the shopping district, fish market (nasty), and docks. This little red devil was begging for a picture with me! Yeah, it was plastic. I was a little chilly and I was in a hurry to get back on the boat and lay out to we went and saw and left. There isn't a lot to see if you've been there before and don't appreciate tequila. It was still a lot of fun.
I thought this view was pretty amazing. That isn't actually our boat.... but it was docked right next to us so you get the point. That flag is ginormous!!

What a great trip! Sounds like you guys had a blast and were a large portion of the entertainment for the rest of the cruisers :) Cute pictures.

Sorry for all the comments! We called that "towel guy" the ninja monkey & he freaked me out too! I didn't see him & ran right into him at night. I screamed & Russ laughed! Too funny. Funny too that Kyle was on your boat :) & Russ has a matching trophey (you should be so proud) I'm so glad you enjoyed your trip.
