Day 3: Cabo San Lucas

The ship arrived in Cabo San Lucas around 8am. We didn't book any "excursions" ahead of time because we were told that you can get better deals on the docks from the locals. So as we got off the boat and endured what seemed like EVERY Spanish speaking salesman in Cabo.... Tanner bargained with them and I just kept my mouth shut and took weird pictures. There were so many pelicans! A bunch of them had taken over this fishing boat at the docks and literally didn't move from it all day. Gross but cool.
Below is our first view of Cabo San Lucas from the Boat... it was crazy because the port isn't big enough for the cruise ship to dock so they anchor out in the Harbor and "water Taxi" you into the docks. Pretty huh! My handsome Hubby and Cabo in the background.

Me squatting on a ledge right over the Pelican Poop Boat..... yeah this is one of those weird pictures ;) After Tan found us a parasailing trip (1/2 the price of the cruise line) we had to be taxied back out of the harbor to the MOVING parasailing boat...... yeah! We had to jump (ok...step) from one moving boat to another! Crazy Mexicans!!

And the safe and sound after shot. It was amazing!! It is the most amazing, peaceful, beautiful ride ever! It was so quiet 600 ft. up above the ocean, it was totally worth it!

After our flying experience we walked around Cabo for a bit..... I saw this really handsome cement Senor to flirt with.

Tanner found some sweet rides at the Harley Davidson store...
We ate a surprisingly clean and tasty lunch at the Famous 'Cabo Wabo' restaurant owned by Sammy Hagaar.....
These next 2 pics are for my Bro-in-law Atom! I found these statues in some little art gallery in town..... they totally reminded me of him! If I had and extra 2 grand sitting around I would have bought him one.

The views as we were leaving the Harbor were unforgettable! It was so surreal!
That is a beach at the very point that they call "Lover's Beach".... you can only get there by boat so it is pretty secluded.....which is why I'm guessing it got its name.
Crazy beautiful shots of the cliffs and rock formations just off shore.
That arch was hard to get cause their is a very short period of time that you can even see it from the boat. It was Amazing! I loved it. I love walking the streets and having people talk to me like a dumb little tourist white girl thinking they can sell me straw hats for $250 (for real!) then Tan whips out his Spanish and they feel like total idiots and try and pretend like they were joking. It is always cool to hear Tan speak Spanish fluently when we are down there....it makes such a difference. I loved seeing such beautiful clear water!! Tan got to swim on the beach for a bit while I soaked up the sun on the Beach but he got stung by a jellyfish twice so there wasn't a chance I was going to get in!!

My favorite purchase was the 6 pack of "coke light" for me and Manzana Lift for Tan that I bought at the Mercado and smuggled back onto the ship :) They charge $2 a can for it on the boat! We also got incredible chair massages from a street peddler for only $10 a piece......it was seriously better than any other massage I have ever had!
