Sleepless in Seattle....for an entirely different reason.

Tan and I had the chance to take a quick trip to Washington state for the Northwest Passage. We didn't have a lot of time but we did get to experience some of the Beauty that is Seattle.

We flew in to Seattle, checked in to our hotel and immediately took the light rail downtown and walked to The Market. It was a DREAM!! The most incredible produce I have ever seen! We grabbed a bite at some random cafe in the Market before we took a stroll down to the waterfront. We indulged in one of my FAVORITE pastimes of people watching for a while before we parted ways from Steve and Leslie (Ragnar Employees that had come out to run as well).

We met some team mates for dinner at 'Serious Pie', this incredible gourmet pizzeria. Delish. Afterwards we caught up with one of Tanner' s friends from PWC. Tanner found us some great tickets to the Mariners v. Red Sox game at Safeco Field. It was a blast! I LOVE baseball games! They remind me of going to the Padres or Angels games growing up....such a great time. Of course no sporting event is complete without a huge bag of KettleKorn with Diet Dr. Pepper!

From what I could tell it is a great city. I was intrigued by the ferry boat system.....it blows me away that people load onto a boat as part of a daily commute. Crazy. Beautiful. Pretty dang cool. We brought home some of the most amazing fresh pasta, Rainier cherries, blueberries and even fresh salmon. Talk about super souveniers!





It was so much fun to get away with Tan. As we were sitting on the plane we realized this was the first time we've flown together alone since our Honeymoon. I just wish it could happen more often :) Thanks for an awesome adventure Babe! I love that you get so excited to show me things that you see when you travel, you are so considerate of me :) I love you!
