Memorial Day a.k.a Bell Christmas

I finally got to join Tanner on his annual bike ride to Morgan! It was awesome.....except for the severe saddle soreness :) Great way to start the day, I love getting to be with my Baby Love. We dropped off the girls at Mimi and Bampa's and began our journey around 8:30. Ogden Canyon was really sketchy and I might have screamed a little bit. It was Gorgeous though!

Lance Armstrong doesn't have a thing on this hunk ;) We made it just before 10:30. Just in time to snag a few pancakes.

Sweet Leila Bug and her sensitive skin! She rocks this rash around her mouth most of the time, no matter how much eucerin I slather on! Still cute though.

The human rubberband a.k.a an ER nurse's worse nightmare! And yes that is my Husband participating against my will. Entertaining to watch....frighteningly funny.

Maci LOVED spending the whole day at a park...I really didn't get to see her much all day. She was so busy exploring the playground, playing with the cousins, sneaking treats, playing with her "soccabow" and taking in all that is Memorial Day with the Bells.

I did notice that she also spent the day almost totally all alone. She was perfectly content to play by herself. Should I be concerned? It was pretty cute.

She definitely knows who to go to to get the goods......If Mimi is there, Maci's treats are near:)

Maci got a hold of my "camma" and took some candid pics of her aunties :)

I would periodically spy on Maci at the park.....when I saw her burying herself in the sand it took EVERY ounce of willpower to let her and not say 'Maci don't do that you'll be so dirty!'.....gotta let kids be kids right? Not one of my stronger points :)

As sad as I was that I was unable to join in the Volley ball fun......it was a lot of fun to watch Tan play. They played for 3 HOURS STRAIGHT. And let me remind you , this is NOT nice leisurely volleyball! This is 'sacrifice your body and possibly your soul or we will yell at you relentlessly' type Volleyball. Bell style.

It was another successful, tiring, warm and sunny, full of laughter and good conversation Memorial Day! We dearly missed George and June, but surely knew they were smiling down on the festivities :)
