HAPPY 30th TAN!!

Did I ever mention that when we were dating Tanner uttered this phrase on one of our dates early on in our relationship....."C'mon, you know you wanna ride the T-Train!" These words were not uttered in jest and I have never let him forget it!

In honor of Tan "The T-Train" I thought I'd share some of the things I love most about him ;)

T- Tenacious.

T- True/Tough

R- Righteous.

A- Attractive :)

I-Idealist/Intelligent

N-Nutty/Natural.

(Okay, so I couldn't decide on just one word on some.....there are too many things I love about him). Shall I explain? Tanner is a force. His unyielding passion and determination is inspiring, as evidenced by the success of Ragnar, the success of our marriage and our family. He is a natural leader and people are drawn to him. He has a way of relating to people that is fairly rare. He is true to who he is. His parents raised him well and he knows who he is and what he wants to be. He is tough. He is my emotional rock. Not only is he willing to work hard but he is also strong willed. When he sets his mind to something, there isn't much that could get in his way. Tan is righteous in his dealings, honest and a great example to colleagues, family and especially me. Attractive, need I say more?! Not only has our love grown exponentially but I am more attracted to this handsome man now than the day I met him.......and I never thought that could be possible. How many people still get butterflies after 6 years of marriage? I'm a lucky girl :) Tanner is brilliant. He thinks things through endlessly. I love that he is wide open to learning from others and knows the limits of his intelligence......he isn't afraid to ask for advice and take it to heart. He is an idealist in that he believes in optimism. He plans big and aims high, never doubting that he'll be successful in his life and various endeavors. He is great at finding silver lining and pointing out positives....it definitely balances me out! If you have spent any amount of time with Tanner you'd know that he is a nut. He is always up for fun, always. He knows just how to make me laugh and better yet, he'll join in my kookiness :) He is more of a kid than most kids I know....in a good way. I say natural because Tanner isn't high maintenance. He is low key and laid back and is able to go with the flow....again, not one of my strong points! I love him. A bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck :)
