We made it to San Francisco!!! Our generous and amazing Sister-in-Law Karly hooked us up with a sweet deal at JW Marriot in Downtown San Francisco a couple blocks from Union Square. It was absolutely beautiful! Only complaint.....$65 a night to park your car. I know parking is scarce but really?!?! So we parked at the hotel the first night and woke up the next morning to find a public parking garage directly across the street that charged $25 for a full 24 hours. Dirty rotten concierge lied to our faces. 
Waiting for the car to arrive....awesome to watch valet pull up with BMW after Mercedes after Cadillac and finally our little Toyota Corolla :)
One of my favorites is the variety of street performers...they are creative, hilarious and dead serious about making a living.
Doesn't look like much here but let me expound..... extra large fluffy warm crepe encasing ooey gooey marshmallow, melted morsels of chocolate and delicious perfection of graham cracker crust....all topped with a bit of perfectly sweet powdered heaven and a dollop of whipped love. Better believe it took us less than 30 seconds to devour this creation!
Pier 49 offers a plethora of shopping....including a crazy hats store....who could resist?
Yes that is an octopus on my head, a pig on Cara's and an alligator on Hannah's...imagine my Mom not wanting to participate :)

For those of you who don't know of the "Bush Man", he is a guy that holds the world's most entertaining job. He sits on the side of the boardwalk on Fisherman's Wharf and covers himself with a tree branch...then scares the bajeebers out of innocent tourists. It is hilarious. He has been there forever!! He was there in the same spot when Cara graduated 10 years ago, when I graduated 8 years ago, when Tanner and I lived in San Jose and is still there.
Don't ask....you had to be there and be slightly sleep deprived to appreciate this life size sponge Bob.....

He got Hannah soooo good! It was fun. The crazy thing is is that the entire opposite side of the street is lined with people staring and taking pictures of him "working", not only that but there isn't a tree around for miles and there is just some random branch on the Boardwalk and nobody notices it. Brilliant.
The Ultimate Chocolate lovers destination.... we had to stop so Mom and Han could get a sundae...can't complain about the incredible smells coming from the churning vats of chocolate :)
We drove across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito and walked through all the boutiques and shops along the main street. It is the cutest town! The houses are unbelievably charming...hard to imagine anyone should get to live in such a place!

We finished off the day with a feast at "The Stinking Rose".... It was so good! We discovered it when I graduated and have raved about it ever since. It is so good going down but let's just say Tanner and Adam should be extremely grateful they were hundreds of miles away that night! :)
Don't mind my scary tongue...I had to demonstrate the proper way to appreciate a clove of garlic....totally normal I promise!

It was an incredible trip!! Thank you so much Mom for your planning! Thanks Han for letting Cara and I crash your party, it was a trip I will remember ALWAYS!! Thanks Car for making arrangements and Adam for letting Cara come!! Sorry you didn't feel great! Thanks Tanner, Kristen and Sara for helping with Maci so I could go. It was so refreshing and much needed! I am so grateful for my family! They are the funnest and most loving people I know. We missed our Bro sooo much though.... we were constantly pointing out things he would love or what he would say if he were with us. Too bad he isn't a girl :)

Ok- you Cahoon girls are Carazy! I vote that next time you take a girls trip, I become an honorary Cahoon. What a fun tradition with the ladies! So glad you had a great time!
Oh how fun! Looks like you guys had a blast! YOu look absolutely ADORABLE pregnant! I'm still trying to talk Morgan into getting your mom's cat. We'll see! I hope all is well with you guys! When are you due?
