Yesterday was
Maci's official 6 month birthday! I can't believe it! She has only blessed our lives for 6 months, Tan and I were just talking about how it is hard to imagine
life without our little Princess! She is such a joy..... she is happy and healthy and growing so fast. She had her 6 month check up this morning and
weighed in at 15 lbs. and 26 inches. She didn't cry when she got her shots..... she just frowned and stomped her feet. It was great!
To celebrate her 1/2 year on earth we attempted the first feeding!
Maci hasn't shown any interest so far so we just held off, but I figured it was time to at least try.
As you can see it was
thoroughly unsuccessful...... amusing for me though. I have a feeling she will be a total picky drama queen when it comes to food.... just like her mom. She would taste it and slowly get this look on her face and then "gag" and spit it all out.
I guess we just keep trying? Fun Stuff.

Happy 6 months beautiful girl! Those pictures are so cute, I was so happy to see her with food all over her sweet face :) Plus laughing out loud when I thought of her riverdancing in angst over her shots. We love her and can't imagine or remember life without her!

It's stunning to think how much of an impact these little ones have on so many people. We're so glad she's here!

she sure is a cutie. getting to see and hold her makes being so far from my nieces and nephews bearable. I sure love that little one!
Happy Half-Birthday Cutie! She is adorable and I can't believe she was so brave for her shots. And I was thinking about it... would you want to eat pureed carrots? I'd sputter them out too! Way to take a stance against the nastiness Maci!
Oh we miss her so much! She's growing so fast, I can't imagine how big she's going to be by the next time we get to see you guys! Happy 6 months!
Kristin, she is beautiful! Neve was the same way, she refused, refused and refused, and then one day decided eating was for her. It's all on these little girls terms isn't it!
