We've been planning on this trip back to Taylor's mission in Washington D.C. since January. A chance to get away....

Lucky for me I have the best in-laws anyone could ask for so I ventured on my own, sans kids, sans hubby.

It was a fabulous trip! Good times were had by all (okay, by me anyway), memories made, and adventures had...
Tasha, Liz and I flew out a few days after the rest of the crew. The first day we were there we went on the most incredible tour of Gettysburg. Who would've thought?! It was amazing to be there on sacred grounds and understand what actually took place hundreds of years
ago. Definitely one of the highlights of the trip.
We rented some cruisers and made our way around to all of the monuments....it was so much fun to feel like a little kid riding bikes all around.....pretty funny to watch too :)
Tiff was such a trooper, 6 1/2 months pregnant and game for everything. I wanted to take a nap just thinking about being that pregnant. She was made to be a Mommy ;)

Our Gettysburg guide was amazing....wish i could remember his name to tell his boss....seriously, he answered EVERY question we asked....and I had some dumb questions ;)
It was such a fantastic trip, only thing that would have made it better woiuld be having had Tanner there with us. I am a pretty lucky girl to have in-laws that would put up with me all over the nation. THank you!
