Resolutions are for Fanatics.....

I'm not feeling very fanatical this year. In fact I still can't believe 2010 is over. I felt fanatical then. It didn't really work out for me. So, this year I'm keeping it fairly simple. Rather than making a list of goals and aspirations for the coming 12 months..... I want to just live. I want to "roll with it" and be okay with that, not only be okay with it but find optimism and joy in it. Something along the lines of "....Come what may and love it..."

SO.... Rather than a list of resolutions, I made a list of my own positive affirmations....
Reminders of what I want to feel about myself and eventually become....

Successful Energetic Impressive Enthusiastic Celebrated Talented Hopeful Alive Happy Unwavering Alert Extraordinary Strong Beautiful Friendly Amazing Healthy Driven Inspired Exceptional Sensational Confident Dynamic Spectacular Vivacious
Blissful Efficient Magnificent Outstanding Triumphant Pure
Spirited Fortunate Undefeated Thoughtful Positive

Bring it on 2011....gently please :)

I was just saying affirmations in the shower this morning. Same brain wave... that's why we're pals.

I like this angle on new year's resolutions. I have to agree with Cara, you're already SO MANY of these things.

love you!

I love your thoughts and reminder of "Come what may and love it." I need that same attitude adjustment daily. It's a constant battle, but a worthwhile and always rewarding goal!
Great idea of the resolutional words!!!

I think this is a great way to start off 2011. I have yet to make any resolutions... maybe in February... and maybe non-procrastination should be included on that list... maybe not though... we'll wait and see...

May you have the BEST 2011. Happy New Year Friend!
