Sweet Pippy! I can't believe we are celebrating your first year here on earth already! This year has been an interesting year. One filled with changes, learning, laughter, tears and awe. As evidenced by these photos you are usually found smiling, sleeping, eating or grinning. We love you so much and are eternally grateful for the joy and spirit you bring to our family.

At ONE YEAR you:

• still grunt more than not.
• are fast! You crawl exceptionally fast and climb stairs even faster.
• love your sleep :) Just like your Mama.
• Melt the hearts of family, friends and strangers alike with your gummy smile.
• Are mastering the art of waving....you switch between opening and closing your hand or bending at the wrist.
• Love water and are fearless when it comes to "swimming"
• Detest your carseat. It is a battle to get you buckled every single time.
• Absolutely refuse to wear a flower, bow or headband...or anything girly for that matter.
• Refuse to sit still. You are constantly moving and insist on being apart of the action.....even if there isn't anything going on :)
• are a champion eater. In the most satisfying and wonderful way! You rarely refuse anything that I put in front of you...It's wonderful!
• Love cheese, toast, edamame, BANANAS, carrots, sweet potatoes, apples.....really anything.
• are hilarious in the bath tub. You will NOT sit in the water...you insist on standing at the side of the tub, dripping water over the sides at all times.
• require all four of my limbs to change a diaper. No joke. Everytime.
• Laugh the hardest when Maci is playing with you.
• cry the loudest when Maci is "playing" with you.
• quiver your chin when you are sad or disappointed.
• Take it upon yourself to entertain the Ward during sacrament meeting and Sunday school. Usually by grunting, waving or smiling while crawling around.
• HATE to have your face touched
• Love when Daddy tickles your head to help you fall asleep.
• Despise being dressed.... you are impossible to dress in one sitting, it normally takes 2-3 tries and sometimes all four limbs :)
• Love bedtime....and I always find you curled up on your tummy with your arms tucked under you.
• Throw your bottle and binky on the floor to let me know you are awake.
