I was so excited when I found these matching Easter dresses! I had no idea Easter fell on Conference weekend though so they didn't even get to show them off!
So we got them all dressed up to go to Mimi and Bampa's ;)
Maci was so excited and Leila happened to be super smiley......so cute!
Maci got to have another "Eater Eggie" hunt at the Bell's where everyone stood around watching and cheering her on......I swear she's not going to know what to do in life when her personal cheer squad isn't always around.

I LOVE their faces in this one! Classic.
Maci didn't quite grasp the whole Easter bunny thing.....but who really does? What more do you need to know than that there is candy and surprises involved?
Couldn't help myself with the ears.....she'll hate me for it someday I'm sure. Totally worth it.

This was the first year we dyed eggs, it was quite the experience. How do you explain to a 2 year old why you have to be careful with an egg? "Be so careful, it could break" is like asking them to throw it on the floor. Let's just say cracked shells were our motif.
We rounded out the night with ice cream cones ;) It really is so amazing to experience holidays with kids. Something about trying to take it down to the basics so that they can understand the purpose is so refreshing. Yet making a huge deal out of everything so that they get excited is so fun.
