I was so lucky to be able to fly to Maryland for my dear cousin Lauren's wedding. It was AMAZING!! I absolutely love it back east.....it is so green and beautiful!
It was really hard for me to leave my girls, thank heaven for my Mother-in-Law and my Mortin! They were angels and took the girls during the day until Tanner got off work.
He is a FANTASTIC Daddy.....seriously, he is adored by his girls! While I know that they were well cared for and entertained and fed (probably not things I would approve of, but fed just the same). Tanner is not much of a housekeeper. I know...it's not what is important.....but a girl can hope right?!?!
"PLEASE TAKE OUT THE GARBAGE AND RECYCLING!!!"
My Mother-in-law even witnessed the patronizing silliness. The only task I was adamant about. Our recycling bin overflows quickly and was close to taking over our garage already.
I called him later that night and asked if he had remembered to do it and he said "Yep" (now we know where Maci gets it from ;)) I thanked him and gave him kudos for remembering. End of story.

Until........I got home late Sunday night to find a new desk, file cabinet and shelf set occupying my front room. What the? Turns out My sweet husband bypassed my 'notes' and forgot to take out the garbage and recycling. In order to 'make up for it' he bought and assembled the above mentioned set. I was torn. Do I let him know I'm ticked?!? Or do I show my excitement for the new furniture? What do you think?

I'll wait to share my response until I can do it nicely ;)
It was awesome to come home to my little family though! We took these pictures together when I got home ;) It is astounding how much you can miss these little people!
It was refreshing to get to spend time with some of my favorite people, to be able to attend the incredible union of Lauren and Jans, to dance like a crazy woman at the reception (what do I care I'll never see most of them again ;)), and to stay up late giggling with one of my best friends.
Love you LoLo!
