Wanna be "Twerds"-- Our New Moon Experience

On our way out to Jordan Commons at 10:30 p.m. we looked at eachother after yawning and asked "Are we really doing this?"........

On our way home at 3:30 a.m. we looked at eachother and asked...
"Did we really just do that? What were we thinking?"
A couple of months ago Sara asked me if I wanted in on the Midnight screening of the latest Twilight Movie--New Moon. This was pre-baby and pre-sleep deprivation....hence the agreement. Don't get me wrong...I loved the book and I am a total sucker for the whole sappy teenaged vampire love story, but midnight? I am too old for that ;)
Let's be honest though...at this point I would pretty much go along with anything for a chance to get out of the house sans kids. So off we went. It really was a blast. The movie was okay....better than the first one but still uber corny. The best part was sitting in a theater full of women and watching/listening to them all drool over 17 year old boys, clap, cry, and laugh through the WHOLE film. There were plenty of die hard fans, borderline creepys, and "Twerds"......it seriously felt like we were at a Star Trek convention.....lots of laughs! Actually, it was a people watchers dream!
