Tasha Bell: Warrior Princess

Maci and I got to go down to UVU and watch our Tashy play soccer! She is the star goalie for UVU....she is a superstar!! This is her senior year playing and we are SO proud of her!! She works so incredibly hard...I am continously amazed by her dedication to, passion for and skill in this game.

As a completely uncooerdinated, perhaps even clumsy "athlete" I LOVE watching Tash play. It is absolutely fascinating and inspiring. She gets so into and gives it her all. She shows no fear or hesitation. She is confident in her abilities...probably because she has worked so hard to get where she is.

My favorite part about this beautiful girl is her absolute humility. Her very first action after losing a tough game was to hold Maci, encourage her team mates and hug every single person that came to watch her play. Really? I'd hate to think what I might be seen doing or saying in that situation....
She is a natural team leader and it is obvious that she is very loved by her team mates.... As her family, we know why ;)
Tash focusing...not even phased by me yelling my fool head off :)

Miss "Choo Choo" cheering on Aunt Tash....they whole drive down she was saying "Tossy, Tossy....soccur? Soc-cur bowl?" with excitement and clapping.

Maci practicing her skills with "Bampa"

She LOVED it! It was a beautiful day too...so nice to get out!

Post game hugs for Aunt Tasha!

That's our girl. I am so grateful to be able to call Tash a sister. She is an amazing woman! It is so fun to watch her find her path and learn and grow and be an example to all of us along the way.
WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU TASH!!

I can agree with you 100% Kristen! I was able to play with Tasha at UV one year before I graduated! We had some fun road trips and she is a sweetheart! Aunt & Uncle Bell are in our ward- the Lt Governor!

Very cool! I had no idea that she was such a wicked cool soccer player. One more reason to like the Bell family even more...
