Senior Prom Princess

My sweet little sister, Hannah, had her senior prom last weekend....Me and Maci got to go over and help her get ready for the big night!! It was so fun! Reminded me that I don't miss High School, but it was fun to watch her excitement and remember what it felt like ;) She was absolutely dazzlingly beautiful! Don't even be frightened by this picture..... we were just "slow dancing, swaying to the music"....practicing ;)

Beauty (Han) and the Beast....

Han and her date were so cute! They weren't awkward or uncomfortable like I always was with my dates....I used to make my Mom pin the Boutonniere on my dates...I actually made someone bleed once. Han did great and even MADE his boutonniere herself. Isn't he a handsome prom date?

Poor things were good sports...not only was I taking pictures, but my Mom, Aunt and next door neighbor were all gathered around snapping shots as well.

All ready to go!

Han let me do her hair and makeup....as far as I know she didn't have to redo it in the car. It was so fun!

Mom and her very last High School Dance picture ever!!!

About 15 minutes before pick up Han was still in her Mumu because her dress was quite finished yet...aaaahhhhhh. Mom and I were having strokes and Han was just as layed back as ever. She is amazing that way, cool as a cucumber.

After Han and Jake finally escaped the the "cahoon-arazzi", Mom and I went to Bajios to grab some grub. I couldn't stop saying how impressed with Hannah was and how proud I am to be her sister. As a 17 year old graduating senior she is so ahead of her time. She is so smart, thoughtful, adventurous, selfless and courageous! I am amazed at her confidence and security in who she is. Not that she thinks she is perfect or that she is stuck up in anyway....just that she is not afraid to be herself. She doesn't think twice about what other might think is cool or who or what is popular... she is a friend to all and doesn't hesitate to stick up for what is right. I am so grateful to have her as a sister , example and best friend. I will miss her so much as she moves on to her next adventure but I am so excited for her. She has a lot to offer, so watch out world!
Love you Han!

HA! Seriously? That post made me cry! How sad and exciting it is all at the same time that your baby sister is "all growed up"! I love that girl! AND her date is a little hottie... ;)

I can't believe she is all grown up. I know it sounds cheesy but it really seems like yesterday she was out 3 year old little neighbor who we thought was so cute. Now she is a gorgeous young woman. Tell her hello.
