Thanksgiving Weekend in St. G

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with Tanner's family and all of his Mom's siblings last Thursday! It was my first Thanksgiving Dinner in a cultural hall at a church house.... I am used to more private formal Thanksgivings. However, I was pleasantly surprised! There were tons of kids, games, laughs...my absolute favorite sweet potato casserole (reminded me of being with my Family), Delicious rolls, an insane amount of pies and incredible company. My camera still didn't have batteries so I don't have visual documentation of the goings on just yet ;)

We are so blessed to be close to so many loved ones! After all the festivities Tan and I packed up our Schwimp and drove down to St. George where my family was gathered for the big Turkey Day! It was so nice to be with Cara and Adam and Cambria... Tanner hadn't been down there to visit since last March!! The girls went and saw Australia....I'll give my opinion later ;) Tan took me for a ride on "Rapp", Adam's motorcycle. It was a blast and way too tempting!

We took pics in the leaves and unfortunately none of them turned out well, but the leaves were pretty nonetheless! Me and my sisters.....I am the luckiest girl to have them as my sisters and BFFs too :)

Maci was extremely fickle and surprise, surprise....she hated the leaves too. Hence the unsuccessful family picture.

Who doesn't like leaves? Probably only my little princess....

Look familiar? Same reaction she had to grass.

Cambria was such a blast to play with!! She has an awesome little personality and is so smart! She and Maci didn't so much love each other's company this time. They are both too territorial and protective to enjoy time together.... sad but dang funny at times. There were many a "cry off" to be heard ;) Cambria LOVES this little cowgirl hat, she wears it all the time.....so cute!
The ladies and Tanner waiting to be seated at the Pizza Factory, Yummo!

Me and my beautiful sister Hannah....she is sooo much fun! She stayed an extra day with us so we could start our "Friends-a-thon".....Cara owns all ten seasons.

Miss Maci ordering at the Pizza Factory..... Am I the only Mom that apologizes to surrounding diners and the wait staff before we sit down?

Back off Mom!

Cambria has this little rocking chair that sits in the family room.... Mace hasn't ever really shown interest in sitting in chairs (ie. high chair, bumboo, stroller....) as soon as we got there she deemed this little chair her throne! Literally, she was ALWAYS sitting in it! Hint, Hint Santa!

The Schwimp dethroned...and not to happy about it.....the was one of those previously mentioned "cry-offs".

Cambria massaging her Buddha belly with the Turtle ;) Is she not the cutest thing ever?

Han and I took the girls to Costco and Cambria found her belly button mid-trip.....it was necessary to take pictures.....she wouldn't leave it alone...shirt up around her neck, red belly button and all!

Showing everyone in line :)

Aunt Cara was so excited to give the girls a bath together... I'm guessing no the response she was hoping for.

Camby had a great time though.....wondering what Maci's problem is.

Tan and Ad took the girls to the Golf course to feed the water fowl;) Guess who loved it and who didn't.

Apparently aunt Hannah looked extra tasty to the duckies and got cornered on the bench.

Maci observing while Camby chases them.
We had a great time! Thanks for letting us take over your house for a few days! Adam thanks for entertaining Tanner..... he loves a good Racquetball beating, motorcycle riding, animal style double-double In-N-Out eating and pointless action films. You guys are the greatest. We love you and miss you always.

Kristen, your Thanksgiving weekend sounded like so much fun--little Maci is darling, as is her personality (sounds a lot like my own kids as babies!) I feel like we haven't seen each other in forever either! :( Let's plan something soon.

I couldn't belive those pictures of Hannah, I haven't seen her since she was a little girl she's so pretty and grown up now!

Marci always apologizes before we sit down in a restaurant too, but usually it's for me. Something about mashed potatoes in the beard.

I knew that little Maci had some serious sassiness in there somewhere. I'm glad that she's finally manifesting a little of it for people besides her Mommy.

Looks like you had a fabulous Thanksgiving! Absolutely jealous. We spent our weekend taping and painting. At least we all felt "giddy" from the paint fumes. If that's a good thing...

Kristin,
How much FUN! I am really glad that you were able to spend it with your sisters. There really isn't anything better than sisters is there,-okay maybe daughters! Maci is a doll. She got her good looks from her Mom. You look GORGEOUS in the pictures. What an adorable family!
