Every once in a while I get to take advantage of perks because of Tan's job..... you know a jazz game here, Concert there, or free dinner.... well this one has been the best so far! Last Saturday night I got to go to the annual Operation Kids Gala. No big deal right? Well I was stoked for several reasons. First, I got to get "all dolled up" , it was a black tie event.... and I wasn't about to wear my purple prom dress from High school so I got to buy a dress, shoes and jewelry for the occasion. Second, My Hot Hubby in a Tux. Third, free dinner at Grand America Hotel! Finally, I was in the same room as President David Palmer (anyone else a 24 fan?!) aka the Allstate guy , John Walsh (from America's Most Wanted), and David Archuletta... as well as some other local celebrities. It was sooooo much fun!
For some reason we didn't get a full shot of us all dressed up... Dinner was beautiful even though I didn't eat any of it ;) Company was awesome! And I like I said before.... Hot Husband in a Tux! Thanks Ragnar!

I agree with Paige. Where is the dress?? You both look amazing and it sounds like the perfect date. Almost like, an "unakward prom," I guess, where you truly know that your date is madly in love with you. If you like the prom thing... definitely jealous of your evening!

Oh so fun! I actually was able to go to that in 2005 and it was really cool - but I can't believe you go to see President Palmer! So cool!!! Yay for perks from Ragnar!
