My Little Buddy

Last weekend I had to work two nights in a row and luckily Tan was home to take duty..... None the less, I didn't' get to see Maci or Tan for more than 48 hours. Well I always miss Tanner when I don't get to see him but I was surprised by how much I missed Maci. Does that sound horrible? Let me explain.... Being a mom is a lot of work, it gets tiring, frustrating, and at times very stressful.....but after having this little angel by my side 24/7 for the last 11 months and 2 weeks (almost a year!) I feel like she is my best friend! I talk to her ALL the time even though I know she doesn't understand....we share smiles, laughs, cries, excitement and naps! She is my little buddy and I find my self waking up giddy for her to wake up so we can play. What a blessing she has been in my life!

What a good girl. Isn't it crazy that someone so tiny can have such a huge place in your heart? I hope that you always remember this because when our babies are teenagers and hate our guts, we will be missing our baby days so much.

I love that little girl! She is such a doll. Last night, my boys were fighting over her, feeding her trix, dancing for her! It was hillarious - they love her too! Hayden has an imaginary friend today that he calls "Macers". Hmmm... wonder where that came from?

I heard a quote from a therapist that said "its ok to hate your kids sometimes...as long as you always love them" Being a mom is sooo hard sometimes....but its also the best thing in the world. Working is my outlet and I wish I could work a little more. Even though I go to work and take care of other peoples screaming kids I come home and appreciate mine a lot more!

Maci is so absolutely adorable! I can see how you need a break at times and then miss her like crazy.
